Great, super informative and well-researched article. And the only way to find out that we are wrong is to find out what our predictions are. A car travels from Boston to Hartford in 4 hours. When later experiments (Clauser & Freedman 1972; Aspect, Dalibard, and Roger, 1982; and others) confirmed that quantum theory was correct, the conclusion was startling. The results have to be regarded as the joint product of ‘system’ and ‘apparatus,’ the complete experimental set-up. The idea for this course came from reading Louis de Broglie’s Nobel Prize address.1 De Broglie’s work is a masterpiece based on the principles of optics and special relativity, which qualitatively foresees the path taken by Schr¨dinger and others in the development of quantum mechanics.
